Auckland – Auckland Airport (AKL)

The airport is located near a residential suburb of Auckland, around 21 km south of the city centre. Currently regular bus services link the airport to the city and surrounding areas, with proposals for a rail link in the pipeline. Cycling is also a popular option in New Zealand, with several cycle routes linking the suburbs to the airport if you’re feeling adventurous!

Wellington – Wellington International Airport (WLG)

There is an express bus service, the Airport Flyer, which will get you straight to Wellington city centre. It runs every 10-20 minutes, and will cost you around NZD 9. If you want a cheaper option, the Route 11 bus service will get you to a stop 10 minutes’ walk from the airport for NZD 5.

Can I choose my seat in advance?

Yes, KLM allows you to select your seat in advance to ensure a comfortable journey.
